Hi, I'm Kristen! 😊
I'm a lifelong artist and a 2005 BFA Fine Arts graduate from Columbus College of Art & Design.
If I'm being honest, college taught me technique, but life taught me what art is really for.
For me, art has never been about galleries, awards, or being the "best." It has always been therapy. It's how I've processed joy, grief, questions, and some of life's hardest seasons. Whether I'm painting, sewing, printmaking, collaging, or filling another sketchbook with messy ideas, creating has always brought me back to hope.
One thing I've believed for as long as I can remember is that everyone is an artist.
Maybe not professionally. Maybe not in the same way. But I believe every person was created to create something.
That's why I used to love teaching private art lessons. My favorite student wasn't the one who already knew how to draw—it was the one who said, "I can only draw a stick figure." Because that's where the fun begins.
This club was born from that same belief.
I'm not inviting you to watch me create. I'm inviting you to create with me.
