About the creator

Hi, I’m Natalie, the creator of Little Roots Club. I’m a Brazilian-American mom raising two little girls in South Florida, the same place where I was raised by my Brazilian parents. Growing up, I spent my summers in Brazil surrounded by family, language, food, music, and the kind of memories that made me feel deeply connected to my roots. I’ve always loved living between two cultures. I’m proud to be Brazilian, proud to be American, and grateful for the beauty of both worlds. But over the years, it always made me sad to see some Brazilian-American children grow up disconnected from their culture, with little interest in the language, traditions, or community that shaped their families. Little Roots Club was created from that feeling and from a simple hope: to make Brazilian culture feel exciting, meaningful, and accessible for the next generation.
