About the creator

Hi, I'm Verjinia — the person behind my lighthouse club. I spent six years living in the UK — studying, working, building a life there — before finding myself back in Bulgaria, in a long distance relationship with the love of my life who calls the UK home. We started writing each other letters. Real ones, on paper. And somewhere in those letters, this idea was born. I'm currently finishing a master's degree in psychology, and what I keep noticing is how much noise surrounds us every single day. How much stress, comparison and pressure lives inside our screens. I wanted to create something that existed outside of all that. Something slow, something warm, something that arrives through your door and asks nothing of you except to sit with it for a moment. I built mylighthouseclub because I believe happiness doesn't live in the big moments. It lives in the ordinary ones — the Sunday afternoons, the meals made with love, the conversations that stay with you long after they end. The Marin family are fictional, but everything they feel is real. I hope their letters find you on a quiet evening and remind you that your everyday life is already full of something worth noticing.
