Hi everyone. My name is Bronwyn but you can just call me "Bee." I decided to create my mail club in hopes of connecting to other Neurodivergent individuals like myself. After my diagnosis of level 1 Autism, I felt very alone. The diagnosis provided the much needed validation after going years feeling misunderstood by others. While getting the diagnosis proved to be positive, there was still this feeling of emptiness and feeling lost that consumed me. How do I find others like me? What resources are out there for employment? Will these resources ACTUALLY help me find employment? These were some of the questions that ran through my mind as I tried to navigate my life with this new diagnosis. I have found out the hard way that being diagnosed late in life can have major drawbacks. I have also realized that "support" is not always cut out for you neat and easy. The system is broken and you really have to advocate and stand up for yourself if you want to attempt to move forward at all. I would love to connect to other Neurodivergent individuals, like myself through my writings. My hope is that you will be able to connect to one or more of the topics I write about every month.
