🌾 HI, I'M DARIAN — WELCOME TO MY KITCHEN! 📬❤️
If you're new here, I thought I'd take a minute to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about the person behind The County Farmstead Recipe Mail Club.
I'm Darian, and I live here in Essex County, Ontario, where my family and I are building our little homestead.
We're not living on some giant farm with endless fields and everything perfectly figured out. 😂 We're making the most of what we have, learning as we go, growing what we can, raising animals, and trying to put good food on the table without spending a fortune.
A big part of what I love about homesteading is food.
Growing it.
Cooking it.
Preserving it.
And finding ways to turn simple ingredients into something our family can enjoy.
I love the old-fashioned idea of knowing how to make things from scratch — bread, sauces, baked goods, meals from the garden, preserves and all those little kitchen skills that seem to have been passed down through generations.
And that's really where the idea for the Recipe Mail Club came from. 📬
I wanted to create something that felt a little more personal than another recipe popping up on your phone.
Something you could actually hold in your hands.
A recipe card you can tuck into your collection.
A letter from my kitchen.
A seasonal recipe to try with your family.

I want this group to feel like we're all sitting around the kitchen table together — sharing recipes, talking about what's growing, celebrating the things that worked and laughing about the things that definitely didn't. 😂
