Hi, my name is Amalia Ishikura but better known as Amelios. I’m an an illustrator and embroidery artist based in Tokyo.
The Neighborhood Post is my way of sharing those little discoveries with you. Each month, I create an handwritten letter, hand painted paper goods, and curate small finds from Japan that capture the feeling of the season. My hope is that every envelope brings a moment of calm, curiosity, and connection, no matter where you are in the world.
