I'm a lifelong artist, finally delving deeply into those gifts after a long career committed to nonprofit institutions supporting others. People have nudged me for years to do more with the knack for bringing a sense of place and experience to others, particularly through writing jotted off the cuff when I'm out on some adventure (and the writing, without question, deteriorates if I try to "refine" it from a desk once home) and vignette-like images in my traveling sketchbooks.
