To make a not-so-interesting story sound at least mildly interesting: I’m a romantasy author, a hobby painter, and a firm believer that myths & legends are infinitely more entertaining than reality. Add a lifelong obsession with romance, and writing romantasy was less of a career choice and more of an inevitability.
Naturally, I decided the only sensible thing to do was create worlds where gods meddle, fate misbehaves, and love remains gloriously complicated, because some of us still enjoy getting lost in stories that make our hearts ache in the best possible way.
So, to all my fellow dreamers, hopeless romantics, and star crossed readers, welcome to our little corner of fantasy, where reality takes a back seat to our world of illusisons.
