About the creator
I have been a relief printmaker (and more) for many years. Although I grew up in Michigan I started my art making in Alaska and then after 30 years relocated back to my home state so my Mom could age in place. My art journey was facilitated by Don Bixler, my partner in life and printing!
Since being back in Michigan I have discovered my art reflects my sense of place, first in Alaska: mountain landscapes, friends, flora, and family pets. Then back in the Great Lakes State: agriculture, pollination, birds, rock outcrops and so much more.
I discovered, with this realization, that I wanted to share my art on a more personal level and snail mail is the ideal venue. My monthly themes can be a springboard for your own sense of place in whatever medium you are enchanted by: any visual art, prose, poetry or music. The sky is the limit.
