My name is Fiona and I have lived in the Casentinot Valley in Tuscany on the edge of an Etruscan village for over 20 years. I'm a writer and artists and share my gorgeous farmhouse with husband William, rough collie Louis, Maine Coon Orion, three hens, three alpacas and two hives of bees. I'm a maximalist by nature, love going to second hand shops and antiques markets to find treasures, and adore adding a touch of Renaissance glamour to natural objects, hence my motto "You CAN gild the lily".
