Itse Mail Club

Itse Mail Club comes from the founder of Visiting The Dutch Countryside and unpacks one slice of Dutch history or culture each month. Every envelope holds an introductory letter, two double-sided A4 sheets of research on the topic, a postcard showing a historic image held by the Dutch National Archives and a changing extra such as a crossword, bingo card or photo print. Past topics include the Hanseatic League, carnival and heathland.

It costs EUR 10 an edition plus shipping, or EUR 120 for a year, in Dutch, English or a mixed version. Sign up by the 25th (Amsterdam time) for that month's mail, sent at the end of the month without tracking.
