Letters From Afar

Each month Letters From Afar mails a letter from Isabelle the Explorer about a different destination, covering food, customs, landmarks and daily life. Letters are printed from original painted and written pages, addressed in a typewriter style, and come with a second sheet showing a map of the place and a page from Isabelle's field notes.

Month to month costs $8, and prepaid plans are $42 for six months or $74 for a year. Letters are mailed from the US between the 10th and 15th of each month, and international subscribers pay a little more for postage.

Written for all ages; families and homeschoolers often use it as a gentle geography lesson.
