Notes From The Wildwood

Notes From The Wildwood comes from Heather of Mystic Maples Art, who lives in the forest on Vancouver Island. Each month features one plant or animal (past subjects include a chickadee, harbour seal, heron and hummingbird) and brings an illustrated art postcard on heavy cardstock, a handwritten letter about life on the island, field notes with ink sketches and identification facts, and a rotating bonus such as a drawing guide, colouring page, sticker or bookmark.

It costs C$9 a month plus postage: C$1.50 in Canada, C$1.75 to the US and C$3.65 elsewhere. An annual plan is also offered. Sign up by the 15th to receive that month's mail.
