Zine of the Month Club
A new zine by Shay Mirk plus a featured indie artist's zine, stickers and cards
Portland cartoonist and writer Sarah Shay Mirk has run this zine club since 2019. Each monthly envelope pairs one of her new zines with a zine by a featured artist she discovered at a comics show or zine shop, plus bonus stickers and cards. Past picks ranged from raccoon comics to desert science zines and mental health comics.
Membership runs through Patreon. The Zine of the Month Club tier is $8 a month, a $12 tier sends two zines a month plus extra mail, and a limited $30 collector tier adds a big welcome bundle of back issues. Her website says the 2026 club is capped and full, while the Patreon tiers still show as open to join.
A good way to discover zine-makers you would never find on your own.
