Sobre el artista
As a printmaker, writer and retired Landscape Architect, I have spent my life in appreciation of the natural landscape and have continually worked to interpret that appreciation to others. My love of the natural beauty and rugged character of the backroad landscape has directed all of my artistic pursuits. Every location has its own beauty and sense of place. I have made it a goal to consciously be in the moment to see the beauty right in front of me. My goal is to find that beauty and to extract that unique character in an original image that is, on one hand, recognizable, yet seen in a different mode.
We have traveled the two-lane highways extensively looking for the character and beauty to be found along those oft-forgotten byways. With our pup, Boozer, by our side, travel along with us as we revisit some of our favorite places and experience new and exciting adventures. There is beauty around every bend in the road if you take the time to see what’s at your feet.
Once a month, take a break from your everyday rush, slow down, sip a cup of coffee and wander the countryside through the eyes and pen of an artist. You will begin to see your own surroundings in a whole new way.
