Hi, I'm Hazel -- and my sidekick Chris, the Gen Xers behind Gen X Mail Club.
We started this club because we missed the little things we grew up with: real mail, mixtapes, mall Saturdays, ridiculous trends and love to laugh at those random memories that can instantly take you back 40 years.
We wanted to create something that felt more personal than another subscription box--a little envelope of nostalgia you can actually open, laugh at and maybe save.
Every monthly mailing is put together by us, with a new theme, plenty of Gen X humor, and a lot of thought about the details that made our generation what it was.
The best part is that Chris and I are about ten years apart in age, so even though we're both Gen X, our memories don't always line up the same way. I may remember the early '70s side of growing up, while he brings in more of the later '80s and '90s experiences --which gives us a much wider stretch of Gen X nostalgia to pull from.
