Hi, I’m Rachel, a stay-at-home mother and wife of more than twenty years. My lifelong passion for languages, literature, cultures, and history led me to pursue doctoral studies in these fields. As an independent researcher, I delight in rediscovering hidden stories from the past. When my mind isn’t lost between worn pages and lingering daydreams, my heart feels most rooted in the wide-open spaces of the North American plains and the American West. It is this tender love for faith, family, culture, and living history that inspired me to create Little Chapel on the Prairie. Through monthly dispatches, I’m thrilled to share voices of Catholic pioneer women, intrepid explorers, missionaries, and humble families—bringing their letters, wisdom, and devotion straight from the plains and mountains to your mailbox.
