Hi there,
My name is Caitlyn and I am the creator of the “Walking on Watercolors” snail mail club.
In January of 2018, I accidentally stumbled upon a youtube video of Bob Ross painting a jaw dropping masterpiece in about thirty minutes time. He of course made this look so very easy and I decided that I too could do it. I got out my supplies, turned on the video, and spent the afternoon painting alongside Bob. A thirty minute tutorial quickly turned into a four hour endeavor, and at the end I was left with a mediocre painting and a passion to become as talented as him.
Fast forward to the summer of 2025 when I finally had the opportunity to live out my dream of seeing “Bob Ross Mountains” in real life. I flew into Denver, rented a car, and began a solo road trip, traveling from Colorado to Montana, with countless stops in between. During this trip, my dream of seeing mountains quickly became a reminder of how beautiful God’s creation is.
I am so grateful God has given me such a passion for creating and after my trip out west, it became important to me to use this gift to glorify Him. After months of practicing, planning, and praying I am finally ready to share with the world this project I have been working on.

But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. ‘You of little faith’ he said, ‘why did you doubt?’”
Sharing this project with the world is intimidating, but I am praying and trusting that as I step out onto the water, the Lord will do His thing!
