💕 A Little About Me Hello! My name is Carrie Kohan. I’m originally from Canada and now divide my time living between the UK and Portugal. If you’re Canadian, you may already be familiar with some of my advocacy work... I’m an award-winning author, Métis Canadian psychic, artist, songwriter, music producer, psychotherapist, and two-time Near-Death Experiencer. I was also a business partner of motivational speaker Tony Robbins. And like Tony, I spent decades teaching workshops to tens of thousands of people, although my work and signature workshop Freedom Masters Intensive' was spiritually based. Now, in retirement LOL! And I’ve decided to go old school - picking up my pen again, and writing you a letter... or two... or twelve over the coming year. xo Since 1998, I’ve dedicated much of my life to protecting children. I became a national child advocate after a near miss with one of my children and a 3x convicted ped... even though I was Learning Disabled, I taught myself to read in my 40s, and ended up writing and amending 14 Canadian laws that strengthened child protection, including helping to bring AMBER Alert, the National Sex Offender Registry, and several other important initiatives into Canada. Through this work as a Federal Gov't Witness, I came to understand the depths of trauma and PTSD at their deepest levels. Soon I felt the push to shift focus yet again... I went from protecting children to helping people heal. Now it’s shifting once again - to sending letter of hope... helping people heal, rise up, spread their wings and fly. Looking back, it sometimes feels as though I’ve lived ten lifetimes in my 62 years. 🤣 Of all the paths I’ve walked, my two NDE's have transformed me the most. I died twice in 1992 and '93. The second death was where I was given so many answers we crave for! The Five Lessons of Life... and this is much of what I'll be sharing with you monthly. For more than three decades, I’ve taught meditation, intuition development, energy awareness, and spiritual growth. Through my Near-Death Experiences, tens of thousands of clients, years of study, and countless conversations with Spirit, I’ve come to believe that life is far more magical, loving, and interconnected than most of us realize. Everything I've created - my artwork, music, books, journals, podcasts, meditations, and now these letters, are all born from one simple desire: To help people remember who they truly are, to reconnect with their inner wisdom, to raise their vibration, and to discover that they are never alone.
