I'm so happy you're here.
I'm a lifelong lover of books, beautiful stationery, meaningful conversations, and the simple joy of finding something special in the mailbox.
By day, I'm an elementary special education teacher and a mom. In the quiet moments between lesson plans and everyday life, you'll usually find me reading, journaling, creating, or diving down fascinating rabbit holes about history, mythology, forgotten traditions, and stories that help us better understand ourselves and one another.
Kindred Letters was born from a simple belief: in a fast-paced digital world, we still need tangible moments of connection.
There's something magical about opening an envelope that was created with care. It's an invitation to slow down, reflect, learn something new, and remember that we're part of a larger story.
Every month, I carefully create each edition of Kindred Letters with the hope that it feels like receiving a thoughtful note from a friend. Some months we'll explore self-love and healing. Other months we'll celebrate seasonal traditions, discover fascinating historical stories, explore books, mythology, or culture, and occasionally enjoy a little mystery or whimsy.
As a Black woman, it's especially important to me to celebrate the richness, creativity, and beauty of Black women's stories while creating a welcoming space where anyone who loves meaningful storytelling, learning, and connection can feel at home.
