Around the World in 80 Cards arranges for a real person somewhere in the world to write you a postcard each month, mailed from their own country with local stamps and postmarks and usually without an envelope. Recent cards came from Norway, Portugal, Quebec, Hawaii and Thailand, and locations never repeat during your subscription.
The Greeting Experience, with a short personal greeting, is $19.99 a month; the Story Experience, with a handwritten mini story from a writer partner, is $39.99. Prepaid yearly versions ($179 and $399) and an optional gift kit are also offered. Because every card travels through a different national post, delivery times vary.
