Dear Holmes turns the mailbox into a detective game. Each month brings a new Victorian-era case: three clue letters arrive roughly a week apart, then a final letter from Holmes lays out the solution. Letters are printed on fine stationery and sent with real stamps, and members also get a private podcast with narrated readings of every letter.

Membership is $24.99 a month with first-class US postage included, and you choose your starting month at checkout. Letters are mailed from Washington, DC; international addresses are welcome for a small postal surcharge, with slower delivery.

Written with adult puzzle fans in mind, but fine for sharp readers aged 13 and up.
