Postcards From the End of the Earth

Each month Cassie Callard, a Wellington artist and marine biologist, posts two copies of a limited-edition postcard printed from her own watercolour of a sea creature, together with a letter telling the real story behind it. Past editions featured Hector's dolphins, a leatherback turtle and a New Zealand sea lion, with extras such as stickers, bookmarks and matching stamps.

The subscription renews monthly and can be skipped or cancelled at any time. Postage is included: NZD 16.50 in New Zealand, NZD 18 for Australia and the Pacific, and NZD 20 everywhere else. Mail goes out untracked in the first week of the month after you pay.
