Thistle & Ink

Thistle & Ink retells the wartime romance of Gordon Gibson and Mary MacLean, the founders' grandparents, who met on Catalina Island in 1941 and kept writing through Gordon's army service in North Africa and across Europe. Each envelope carries letters between the two (fictional, but based on real documents and the family timeline), photographs, period-style postcards, recipes, press cuttings, stickers and notes on the history.

The story runs twelve monthly mailings. Letter by Letter costs USD 11 per month and ends by itself after the final chapter, while The Full Story is USD 121 paid upfront. Each envelope goes out by regular USPS mail within a few days of billing, and gift cards are available.
