Built for mail, not bolted on
Ko-fi and Shopify can take a payment.
Neither was built to mail things on a schedule.
A mail club lives or dies on postage, timing and addresses. That's exactly what MailClubly does, and what general tools leave you to figure out yourself.

Creators who stopped fighting spreadsheets
"I'd been running my print club off a spreadsheet and PayPal for a year. The postage maths alone used to take me a whole evening. Now subscribers pick their country and the right rate is just there. I genuinely got my weekends back."

Sarah Chen
Illustrator
"I looked at Shopify with a subscription app and it was going to be three plugins and a monthly bill before I'd sold a single sticker. MailClubly had me taking payments the same afternoon. Pro pays for itself every month now."

Marcus Webb
Sticker artist
"The cut-off date is the feature I didn't know I needed. Everyone's charged on the same day, I export the addresses, and I have a clear week to print and pack. My months finally have a rhythm."

Elena Rodriguez
Letterpress designer
"On Ko-fi my overseas members were basically costing me money because shipping was baked into one flat price. Here international subscribers pay the real rate. Same zine, and I'm not subsidising postage anymore."

James Liu
Zine maker
"Subscribers update their own address before each mailing, so I've stopped sending things to old houses. That one thing has saved me a small fortune in reprints and re-sends."

Priya Sharma
Watercolor artist
"I capped my club at 150 so I don't drown in packing. The page shows โspots left' and it genuinely pushes people to join before the cut-off. Two drops sold out before ship day."

Comic artist
Got questions?
Frequently asked questions
What is a snail mail club?
It's a subscription where members get something physical in the post on a regular schedule, with art prints, sticker packs, zines, postcards or handwritten letters. You make the mail; MailClubly handles sign-ups, recurring payments, postage pricing and your shipping schedule.
How much does MailClubly cost?
It's free to start. On the free plan we take an 8% platform fee on each subscription payment. MailClubly Pro is $9/month and drops that platform fee to 0%. Standard Stripe card-processing fees apply on both plans.
How is this different from Ko-fi or a Shopify subscription?
Ko-fi and Shopify can take a recurring payment, but neither was built to put physical mail in a mailbox on a schedule. MailClubly is. You get postage pre-calculated by weight and destination (so overseas members pay the real rate), a cut-off date and fixed ship day, subscriber caps, and address CSV exports, without plugins, extra monthly app fees, or days of setup.
How do payments and payouts work?
Payments run through Stripe. You connect (or create) your own Stripe account and money is paid out directly to your bank. MailClubly never holds your funds. Subscribers can pay by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Can I collect sales tax or VAT?
Yes. Turn on tax collection in your club settings, add the places where you're registered to collect (a US state, your country's VAT, โฆ), and the right rate is calculated automatically from each subscriber's shipping address โ including each US state's own rules on whether shipping is taxed. You choose whether tax is added on top at checkout (US-style) or already included in your price (EU-style), and invoices show the full tax breakdown. Your platform fee is never charged on collected tax; invoices where tax is collected carry a 0.5% tax calculation fee (Stripe's fee). MailClubly doesn't file or remit tax for you, so if you're not registered anywhere, simply leave it off.
How does the shipping cost get calculated?
Choose where you ship from and we load that country's official postal rates: USPS (US), Royal Mail (UK), Canada Post, Australia Post, La Poste (France) and Deutsche Post (Germany) โ taken from each carrier's official tariff sheets and kept up to date. You set the heaviest weight you'll mail, and each subscriber automatically sees the correct price for their destination. Shipping from another country, or prefer your own prices? Build custom shipping zones with your own rates per group of countries, offer free worldwide shipping, or restrict your club to selected destinations.
What are cut-off dates and the ship schedule?
You pick a day each month that you ship, and a cut-off a few days before. Everyone is charged together on the cut-off, so you collect payment first and get a clean window to print labels, pack and post. New members who join after the cut-off simply start with the next mailing.
Do I handle the shipping myself?
Yes, you create and post the mail, which is the fun part. MailClubly does everything around it: subscriptions, payments, the postage maths, your organised mailing list and a one-click CSV of addresses for the people you're shipping to this month.
Can international subscribers join?
Absolutely. You can ship to 190+ countries, and each subscriber pays the postage rate for their own country, so you're never out of pocket on overseas mail. You can also limit your club to specific destinations if you prefer.
Which countries can I run a club from?
42 countries, anywhere Stripe Express payouts are available to our platform: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States. Wherever you're based, you can ship to subscribers in 190+ countries.
Which countries have pre-calculated postal rates?
Six ship-from countries so far: the United States (USPS), United Kingdom (Royal Mail), Canada (Canada Post), Australia (Australia Post), France (La Poste) and Germany (Deutsche Post) โ each verified against the carrier's official tariff documents. Creators shipping from any other country use custom zones with their own rates; clubs on MailClubly currently ship from 20+ countries.
Can subscribers prepay for several months?
Yes. You can offer prepay plans where subscribers pay 3, 6 or 12 mailings upfront at a discount you choose. They still receive mail every month; billing simply renews once per prepaid block.
Can I offer discounts or a free first month?
Yes โ two built-in tools: an intro offer that makes a new subscriber's first mailing free (optionally capped at a number of spots), and promo codes you create and share for a percentage or fixed discount.
Can I use my own domain name?
On MailClubly Pro you can connect a domain you own โ like yourclub.com โ and your entire club page, including checkout, is served there. You add two DNS records; SSL certificates are issued automatically. Your mailclubly.com/@yourclub address keeps working as a fallback.
What if a subscriber moves or wants to cancel?
Subscribers manage their own shipping address through a secure portal, so it's always current before each mailing. They can cancel anytime. They'll receive any mailing they've already paid for and simply won't be charged again.
Can my club page be in other languages?
Yes. Public club pages are available in English, German, French and Spanish, with transactional emails sent in your subscriber's language.
