My name is Mathilde. I was born and raised in Paris. Not the postcard version, the real one: ring-road traffic and bakeries that vanish in August without warning. Four years ago, I left it all behind for New York. I've been living between two worlds ever since — an accent people notice in Manhattan, and reflexes I've never quite lost.
