My name is Mathilde. I was born and raised in Paris. Not the postcard version, the real one: ring-road traffic and bakeries that vanish in August without warning. Four years ago, I left it all behind for New York. I've been living between two worlds ever since — an accent people notice in Manhattan, and reflexes I've never quite lost.
The Parisian Gazette is what I'd whisper to you if you were sitting across from me, glass of wine in hand: what Parisians actually do, what they quietly think, what the guidebooks leave out. Every month, in an envelope, I'll take you with me.
