Mailed Memories

Mailed Memories comes from Kayla Dantz, a Massachusetts photo-textile artist who weaves photographs, often vintage family snapshots from the 1960s and 70s, into tapestries. Each month she sends a small giclée print of one woven piece on archival matte paper, about 7x5 or 6x6 inches, dated and signed on the back, along with a note about that month's photo and textile. Prints are made to order and arrive unframed.

Subscriptions are paid a month ahead, so ordering in September brings the October print. Envelopes go out as untracked letter mail within the first two weeks of the month, and the club is available worldwide.

A lovely way to collect quiet, nostalgic textile art in small form.
