Lindsay J. Ralph, a wedding and portrait photographer based in St. John's, Newfoundland, sends a quiet envelope once a month: a surprise 4x6 print picked to match the month's theme and a letter on the same idea. The prints are meant to be kept, framed or passed along to someone else.

It costs $9 a month within Canada and $12 for international addresses, paid through Stripe and cancelable any time. Sign up by the 10th to get the current edition; later sign-ups start with the following month.
