When and how you get paid
How money moves from your subscribers to your bank, and where to see your balance.
Your subscribers pay your club directly through Stripe. The money goes into your Stripe balance (minus fees), and Stripe sends it to your bank account automatically. There's nothing to request.
When subscribers pay
- New subscribers pay for their first mailing as soon as they join.
- Everyone else is charged on each mailing's cut-off date. See How cut-off, charge and ship dates work.
When the money reaches your bank
- Your first payout usually arrives 7 to 14 days after your first payment. Stripe holds new accounts a little longer at the start.
- After that, Stripe pays out automatically on a rolling basis: each payment becomes available after a few days, depending on your country, for example about 2 business days in the US and Australia, and about 3 business days in the UK and most of Europe once your account is established.
These timings are set by Stripe, not MailClubly. See Stripe's payout documentation.
See your balance and payouts
Go to Settings → Payouts and click Stripe Dashboard. There you can see your balance, money on the way, upcoming payout dates and your past payouts. You can also log in directly at connect.stripe.com/express_login.
Change your bank account
In the Stripe Dashboard (above), open your account settings and edit your bank account.
Why does Stripe show $0 after my first subscriber? If they used a promo code or your intro offer for a free first month, there was nothing to charge. Their first real payment happens at the next cut-off.
