Products

Create a product

1. Go to Products and click New product.
2. Enter a Name and a Price, then Create.
3. On the product's page, add:
   • Images: at least one photo is needed to publish it.
   • Description: what it is, its size, what's special about it.
   • Stock: how many you have. Leave it empty for unlimited (made to order), or set 1 for a unique item.
   • Shipping (see below).
4. Click Publish.

A new product starts as a Draft: nobody sees it until you publish it. Unpublish takes it off your shop without deleting it.

Shipping for a product

• Like your mailings (the default): it ships like a past mailing, with your shop rules from the Shipping tab. If it's heavier than a letter, enter its weight so shipping by weight stays right.
• Its own shipping price: for things that don't travel like your letters, such as a poster tube or a parcel. Set a price for the First item and for Each extra one, per shipping zone, plus Everywhere else.

Stock

When the stock reaches 0, the product shows as sold out. While a buyer is paying, their items are held for them for a short while, so two people can't buy the last one.

Search engines

Under Search engine listing (SEO) you can set the title and description Google shows for the product, and its URL slug.

Delete a product

Delete removes it from your shop. Past orders keep their records.
