Connect Stripe to get paid

Set up payouts, understand each verification status, and fix the most common Stripe issues.

MailClubly uses Stripe to take your subscribers' payments and send the money to your bank. Setting it up is free and takes about 5–10 minutes. You don't need a Stripe account beforehand: it's created for you.

How to connect

  1. Go to Settings → Payouts.
  2. Choose your Business country and save.
  3. Click Connect with Stripe and follow Stripe's steps: your details, identity and bank account.
  4. At the end, Stripe sends you back to MailClubly.

Your business website: Stripe asks for one. We pre-fill it with your club page (mailclubly.com/@your-club), which Stripe accepts. You can also use a social media profile: enter it as a full link, not just a handle.

While Stripe verifies you, your club can often already take subscribers; the money simply waits in your Stripe balance until verification is complete.

Common issues

Stripe asks for an ID document. Upload a clear, full-color photo or scan of a valid ID (not a photocopy, not expired), showing all four corners (front and back for cards). The name must match your Stripe details exactly. Reviews can take up to 24 hours. Stripe's document guide

Wrong country code on the phone number. Stripe guesses the country code from your location. Click the flag next to the phone field and pick your country before typing your number.

Changed phone number and can't log in to Stripe. Go to connect.stripe.com/express_login and choose to verify with email instead. Stripe's help page

Wrong bank account or email in Stripe. Change it in your Stripe dashboard: Settings → Payouts → Stripe Dashboard.

Changing your country. This disconnects Stripe, and you'll need to connect again. It isn't possible while you have active subscribers.
