Set up your club

Setting up a club takes about 10 minutes. You sign in with Google, create your club, then fill in a few sections of your dashboard.

1. Create your club

1. Go to mailclubly.com and click Start your club, then Sign in with Google.
2. Enter your Club name and choose your Club URL. Your club will live at mailclubly.com/@your-url. The URL uses lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, and can't be changed later, so pick carefully.
3. Add a logo (optional, you can add it later).
4. Choose where you're based. This is used for your payouts and your default shipping country. See Is MailClubly available in my country?
5. Choose a plan: Free (8% platform fee, no monthly fee) or Pro. You can switch anytime in your club's settings.

2. Work through the setup checklist

Your dashboard opens on My club, with a Setup checklist:

• Add page content: describe your club: what's inside each mailing, the vibe, who it's for.
• Add about section: a few words and a photo of you. Subscribers love knowing who's behind the mail.
• Set subscription price: in Subscription.
• Configure shipping: in Subscription. See Shipping costs and countries.
• Set up payouts: connect Stripe so you can get paid. See Connect Stripe.

3. Set your shipping schedule

In Subscription → Shipping schedule, click Set up and choose the day of the month you'll post your mail, and how many days before that subscriptions close (the cut-off). See How cut-off, charge and ship dates work.

When can people subscribe?

Your club page shows Subscriptions coming soon until all of these are done:

• Stripe is connected and can accept payments
• a subscription price is set
• shipping is configured
• a shipping schedule is set

Once they are, the Join button goes live and your club can appear in the clubs directory.

Good to know

• You can run up to 3 clubs per account. Need more? Contact us.
• Preview your club anytime from My club → Club details (the open-in-new-tab icon next to your club link).
