Shipping for shop orders
How buyers pay shipping on products and past mailings: per item or by weight, packaging and free shipping.
Shop orders use your club's shipping zones and rates (see Shipping costs and countries). How they add up when someone buys several items is set in the Shipping tab, in the Shop orders card.
Per item
The first item costs your usual shipping to that country. Then choose what each extra item in the same order adds:
- Free: it fits in the same envelope.
- The same again: it goes in its own envelope.
- A custom amount.
By weight
Each item has a weight, and the envelope's total weight picks the price:
- A past mailing weighs: your usual mailing weight. You can set a different weight on any past mailing or product.
- Prices by weight: add steps ("up to 100 g: 2.50"). If your shipping uses a postal service's official rates, its prices are filled in for you. Past the heaviest step, the order is split into several envelopes.
Both modes
- Envelope and packaging (optional): added once per envelope.
- Free shipping over (optional): orders above that amount ship free.
What buyers pay shows examples for a few countries and item counts, so you can check before saving.
Products with their own shipping
A product set to Its own shipping price ignores these rules. In an order with other items, the highest first-item price is charged once, then each other item adds its extra price. See Products.
Free shipping on your subscription? Then shop orders ship free too, except products with their own shipping price.
