Prices, prepay plans, promo codes and intro offers

Your subscription price

Set it in Subscription → Subscription price: choose your currency and your monthly price (without shipping). Quarterly clubs set a price per quarter.

Changing your price: existing subscribers keep the price they signed up with. The new price only applies to people who join afterwards. In a subscriber's details, members on an older price show a Grandfathered price badge.

Choose your currency carefully before your first subscriber. Existing subscribers keep paying in the currency they signed up with, so changing it later leaves you with mixed currencies.

Can I offer several tiers or prices?

Not in one club yet: each club has one price. Some creators run a second club for another tier (for example a "deluxe" version): use Create new club in the club switcher, and link the two pages to each other in your page content.

Prepay plans (3, 6 or 12 months)

In Subscription → Prepay plans, turn on 3, 6 and/or 12 months and set a discount for each (0–90%). Subscribers pay upfront and still receive a mailing every month.

The discount applies to the subscription price, not to shipping, which is charged for every month included.
Prepay plans are available for monthly clubs only.

In Promo codes → New promo code (Stripe must be connected first):

Code: 3–30 letters or numbers, for example WELCOME10.
Discount: a percentage, or a fixed amount in your club's currency.
Applies to: the first payment only, several months, or all payments.
Optional max uses and expiry date.

Subscribers enter the code at checkout. Codes can't be edited or deleted, but you can Deactivate them anytime; people who already used one keep their discount.

100% off the first payment makes the first mailing free: that subscriber pays nothing at checkout, so nothing appears in Stripe until their next charge.

Intro offer: first month free

In Subscription → Intro offer, turn on Offer the first month free, optionally limited to the first N members. New members pay nothing for their first mailing (you still cover postage), then your normal price. It doesn't apply to prepay plans.

Subscriber limit

To cap your club's size, set Subscriber limit in Subscription → Shipping schedule. When you're full, your page shows "Club is full" and nobody else can join until a spot opens.
